Adrian White

Chief Operating Officer

Adrian joined Lloyds Banking Group in September 1985 and has extensive leadership experience across our Commercial, Retail, and Wealth and International businesses. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Adrian was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Banking in June 2015 and is accountable for leading the division’s delivery activities across client operations and services, data services, supplier management and other essential support functions.

Prior to his current role, Adrian was Managing Director, SME Banking, where he led the strategic realignment of this business and execution of the Group’s external commitments for lending to SMEs. Before joining Commercial Banking, Adrian led the Group’s Asset Finance Operations and IT Function, where he served as Integration Director through the amalgamation of Lloyds TSB and HBOS.

Adrian’s earlier roles in the Group include Managing Director of Offshore Wealth, Change Director for Retail Banking and other leadership roles in Group Strategy, Group Audit and Group Change.

Adrian serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Business Growth Fund, a £2.5bn equity investment business focused on providing long-term growth capital to SME businesses in the UK and in which the Group is a 20 percent investor.
