Managing Director, Head of Client Asset Management, Commercial Banking, Lloyds Bank

Andrew was appointed Head of Client Asset Management in January 2015 when the Global Non-Core division was re-integrated into Commercial Banking and combined with Portfolio Management. Andrew’s team works in collaboration with coverage and the other product teams to: allocate and manage capital across Commercial Banking; manage the run-off and non-strategic portfolios with the objectives of deleveraging and de-risking these assets; provide analytical capability through detailed client returns data and methodologies, performance management infrastructure and client insight. He joined the Group as Head of Portfolio Management in June 2012.

Andrew has deep expertise in portfolio management, treasury and risk and in leading and building large multi-disciplinary global teams. Prior to joining the group, Andrew spent ten years at Barclays in a number of positions across portfolio management, risk and treasury. His final role was Head of Balance Sheet Management, Barclays Corporate, looking after asset and liability management, liquidity and treasury operations within the global corporate bank. At Barclays, he was a voting member of various committees, including the Group Credit Committee.

Prior to Barclays, Andrew worked in Abbey National Group and consultancy. Andrew has a MSc in Economics and Econometrics.
